Services

Start with the result—not the technical term.

Choose the sentence that sounds most like your project.

Projects can cross services.

A real object might be scanned, rebuilt, test printed, adjusted, and then produced. Each step is shown separately in the quote.

Some projects use more than one service

The service names describe different steps, not four separate boxes. A real object might be scanned, rebuilt into cleaner CAD geometry, test printed, adjusted, and then produced as a finished part. A downloaded model may only need printing. I will separate those steps in the quote so you can see what you are paying for.

Common project paths

Found a model online

Usually this is a straightforward 3D printing job. Send the link, desired size, color, and quantity.

Have a file that is close

This may need a small file modification before printing: resizing, adding text, moving a hole, splitting a model, or strengthening a weak section.

Have the original object but no file

Scanning may capture the shape. Functional replacements may also need measurements and CAD rebuilding, because a surface scan is not automatically a precise engineering model.

The printer itself is failing

Local FDM printer repair can cover diagnosis, clogs, first-layer trouble, failed components, calibration, firmware, and practical upgrades.

Service boundaries

  • Printing is FDM rather than resin.
  • Printer repair is currently local to Kingston and the Texoma area.
  • Scanning quality depends heavily on the object’s surface and shape.
  • Customer-supplied files must be legal for the requested use.
  • A quote may recommend against printing when another solution would serve you better.

Not sure where your project belongs?

You do not need to choose the service first. Describe the result you want, and I will identify the likely steps.
